Rail Road Network

The region is also covered with the railroad network in all of its main towns. The Pakpattan Railway Station was built in 1924 during British rule before the independence of Pakistan. Pakpattan became an important station on the Railway map in 1910 when the Kasur- Lodhran section of the railway was laid because of railway divisional headquarters and loco sheds.
